Privacy Policy
Time Freeze is a single-player puzzle game with no account system, no advertising, and no in-app purchases. One thing leaves your device: an anonymous score record for the leaderboards. This page describes it in full.
ios and your app versionTime Freeze is made by the Time Freeze development team. For any question about this policy, or to make a request about your data, write to support@pansdoor.com.
The game sends one record, and only when it can reach our server. Nothing is sent while you are offline, and nothing is sent in the background when you are not playing.
identifierForVendor. The app never
reads any of those.
SwiftDragon4821. You do not type it and you cannot change it.
identifierForVendorWe do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers.
To run the leaderboards: to rank scores, and to show you where you stand. That is the whole purpose. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, marketing, research, or to build a picture of how you play beyond what a leaderboard needs.
Cloudflare. Our API runs on Cloudflare Workers with a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare processes requests on our behalf as our hosting provider and does not use your data for its own purposes. As with any web service, a request carries technical information such as your IP address, and Cloudflare may retain it briefly in its logs for security and abuse prevention. Our own code never stores your IP address and never uses it to identify you.
Apple. Apple handles the App Store download and any payments under Apple's own privacy policy. We never see your Apple ID.
The leaderboards are visible to everyone playing the game. An entry shows a display name
and a score — SwiftDragon4821, 148 stars. Nothing else.
There is no way to work back from a display name to a person. The name is derived from a random ID that exists only inside your device's Keychain, and it is not linked to any account, email address, or real name. Because display names are generated rather than typed, the boards carry no user-generated content.
Leaderboard rows are kept for as long as they are needed to rank players. Daily Puzzle rows are pruned periodically, and records that have not synced for a long time are removed. You can delete everything at once, whenever you like.
Open Settings in the game and hold DELETE CLOUD DATA. This removes your rows from the leaderboards and makes the app forget its player ID, so the next sync registers as a brand-new player. Your progress on the device is not touched.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
We cannot delete data on your behalf, because we have no way to tell which record is yours. The only link between you and a leaderboard row is the random player ID in your device's Keychain — we hold no name, email, or account that could identify it. The same fact explains two other things about the game: reinstalling starts you over as a new player, and a leaderboard position can never be restored.
Time Freeze is a puzzle game suitable for all ages and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — the app collects no personal information from anyone.
Data travels to our API over HTTPS. The player ID is held in the iOS Keychain. Because we store no names, emails, or credentials, our records are pseudonymous score totals: even a full disclosure of our database could not identify the person behind a row.
If this policy changes, we update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the app's App Store release notes.
